Primolut N contains norethisterone 5mg. To delay a period, the usual course is one tablet three times a day, starting about 3 days before your period is due and continuing until you want it to come. Your period normally returns 2 to 3 days after you stop. Jane's team will confirm the exact timing for you.

Good to know

It is not a contraceptive and does not prevent pregnancy.
Do not take it if you might be pregnant.
Possible effects include nausea, headache, breast tenderness, mood changes, and spotting.
